I have a proven track record of leadership and service in the medical community, having held various roles such as chair of the credentials committee and secretary of the medical staff Executive Committee at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi, as well as serving on the Oxford Surgery Center Board for 12 years, including 7 years as Medical Director, and being elected to the board of the North Mississippi Physicians Association IPA, where I even held the position of vice president.
My servant leadership demonstrates my commitment to utilizing my organizational skills and leveraging my professional expertise to deliver high-impact humanitarian aid internationally
My decades long service in many various key roles across several organizations has contributed to ensuring that healthcare professionals remain equipped to provide the highest quality care to patients.

Growing up, visiting my grandmother in Oxford, Mississippi, I always felt a sense of magic in this small Southern town. Whether I was playing on the firetruck at Avent Park, strolling around the historic town square, or attending an event at the University of Mississippi, there was an undeniable charm and uniqueness to Oxford that captivated me.
Now, having lived in Oxford for the past 35 years, I can say with certainty that this feeling of magic has not faded. Oxford and the surrounding Lafayette County offer an exceptional quality of life, with excellent schools, a thriving university, and an incredible array of restaurants and cultural offerings – all while maintaining the warmth and character of a small town.
