President of Oxford Endowment for Public Education
The Oxford Endowment for Public Education (OEPE) was a local initiative aimed at supporting and enhancing public education in Oxford, Mississippi. It focused on providing resources and funding to improve educational opportunities for students in the community. Through its efforts, the OEPE worked to strengthen the quality of education and foster a supportive environment for both students and educators in the area.
OEPE raised tens of thousands of dollars for the betterment of our city school system and education of our children. During my time as president we were able to increase fundraising to impact the lives of hundreds of students. In 2014 OEPE transformed into Oxford School District Foundation. To this day OSDF still enriches the lives of students.
